SAFETY

Western PA Chapter NECA’s Comprehensive Safety Program

The Western PA Chapter, NECA has an established Safety Services Program designed to assist member firms with their accident prevention and loss control efforts. Through training, consulting, and the most up-to-date manuals and materials available, the Western PA Chapter, NECA provides its members with a comprehensive, cost effective safety solution.  Our partnership with the IBEW and JATC allow us to maximize our safety efforts in every way possible.

COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY SUPPORT SERVICES & PUBLICATIONS

The WPA NECA Chapter safety initiative also includes a comprehensive array of safety training programs, safety manuals, publications, computer software, and videos. These publications and support efforts are geared to help Chapter members establish and deliver sound company-wide safety programs.

The Electrical Contractors Safety Program and Electrical Construction Employee Safety Handbook are among the many publications NECA provides to assist contractors in setting up safety plans and policies, in meeting written requirements, and in assuring that employees are familiar with industry safety rules and OSHA safety regulations.  NECA also provides the OSHA Safety and Health Standards Digest for Electrical Construction – a pocket-size digest based on OSHA’s standards for the construction industry and intended for field use by electrical workers and supervisors.
